Education

The MRC Cancer Unit is committed to training the next generation of cancer researchers, and supports a range of students at different stages of their education. We are happy to host Part II and Part III undergraduate students, Masters and PhD students, and Clinical Research Training Fellows.

The MRC Cancer Unit is part of the University of Cambridge's School of Clinical Medicine, and all forms of graduate study at the Unit provide an excellent opportunity to work at the interface between basic and clinical cancer research. We have excellent laboratory facilities, and an active graduate student society which organises both social and scientific activities. All students have access to a range of scientific seminars, meetings, and other training events. Our location on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus with many other research institutions and other University departments also facilitates interactions and collaborations with colleagues from other disciplines.
